Kate Jock is a graduate of Arcadia University where she received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications, minoring in history. In 2019, she interned for the International Network of Street Papers, a global nonprofit network working to help people experiencing homelessness and others with low or no income make a living while raising awareness for issues of poverty among other things. Her article “The United States has a hostile architecture problem. Is public space becoming private?” has been published by a number of street papers in the United States as well as Japan, Finland, and Germany, among others. She recently completed an academic year as Editor in Chief of Loco Mag, an online off-campus Philly lifestyle magazine in which she frequently contributed in categories such as Entertainment and Lifestyle.
